At my lowest point, My credit scores were low 400's and I had over ten collections sitting on my credit report. I was getting denied for apartments, cars, and even the smallest credit cards. And the times when I was approved, the interest rates were insane 15%, 26% I didn't know at the time that was bad. I was frustrated, embarrassed, exhausted and honestly I was ready to give up and accept this was my reality.
I’ve been exactly where you are right now. I know what it feels like to start over with nothing, to carry the weight of past mistakes, and to rebuild your life while people quietly expect you to fail. I know what it feels like to be a single dad trying to hold everything together while your credit is falling apart and the bills don’t stop coming. And I know what it feels like to have seriously damaged credit.
Then I discovered the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and everything changed. Once I learned how to enforce my consumer rights, Debt collectors stopped intimidating me. I knew how to respond back to them regardless of the method they used. once they violated my rights I sued them, And they started sending me checks and deleting the accounts from my credit reports.
That was the turning point that changed my entire life. That moment changed my life as a man, as a father, and as a provider.
Today, my mission is simple:
To help real people rebuild their credit, challenge negative items, get inaccurate information removed, stand up to unfair collection practices, and finally make the system work for them and not against them. Most people were never taught their rights. Most were never told they could fight back. Most think the laws are built to punish them when in reality, those same laws exist to protect them and require 100% accuracy and fairness when reporting.
Ramos Cares exist because I got tired of watching people get taken advantage of by fake “gurus” and overpriced credit repair courses that never deliver real results.
